

Relay is an urban vehicle designed by Tristan Hipps for maximum transport efficiency. It is a zero emission vehicle which is driven by an electric engine. The vehicle is fully covered from all sides and is provided by one main 48 volt battery and one spare 24 volt battery in case the main battery runs out of power.

The Asus Eee PC S101 netbook will be released on November 1st, 2008 in the US. Asus’s latest netbook offers an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB SSD and 30GB hard drive, a 10.2 inch LED backlit display with 1,024 x 600 resolution and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. Priced at $699, this super thin netbook measures 0.75 inch thick and weighing 2.3 pounds. It is available in copper brown or graphite colors.

Aigo revealed the Aigo Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP5 player, or better known as the MP5-MK3510. The gadget boasts a 4.3 inch display (480 × 272 px), and supports RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, DAT, MPG, MPEG and MP3, WMA, FLAC, APE with BBE and SRS file formats. Other features include an integrated e-Book reader, Photo viewer and a built-in FM tuner. Its battery provides approx. 4 hours of non-stop video playback or 10 hours for audio playback.

Samsung makes us busy with their new 22 inch LCD monitor. Dubbed as the CX-2233GW, the LCD screen features a 1,680 x 1,050 resolution, a 300cd/m2 brightness, a fast 5ms response time and a DVI HDCP port. The kewl factor for this monitor is that it provides a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, which is capable of being boosted to 20,000:1. Mobile Intelligent Ubiquitous (MIU) has unveiled the third generation of its Hybrid Dual Portable Computer (HDPC). The new model offers a 4.1 inch TFT display (800 x480 resolution), a 2.4 inch AMOLED internal display (320 x 240 resolution), ARM processor for menial tasks, Intel Atom processor, Windows CE operating system and DMB navigation capability. This gadget was scheduled to release in Korea for around $500. However, there is no word on the release date at this time.

MSI will release the new 3.5G Wind 120 netbook sometime next month. The netbook features Windows XP OS with Intel’s Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 8.9-inch display screen. This highly anticipated netbook retails for $552. The price tag will be cheaper if MSI makes a deal with American 3G network operators like AT&T or T-Mobile. Taiwan’s Vibo Telecom is the first carrier to subsidize the Netbook.
