In Tel Aviv, Israel, the G Tower offers Tel Aviv’s most expensive apartment, a flat priced at $34-million apartment. The Gindi Group, which developed the G Tower recently announced the selling price for the triplex flat which combines a former duplex and penthouse apartment on the 24th, 25th and 26th floors. The new apartment is located just under the triplex which was purchased by the holder of controlling interest for Bank Hapoalim, Shari Arison, for $13 million.

The tower has 31 floors with 40 apartments. Building amenities include a culture center with a library and bar, a fitness center, swimming pool, conference center, underground parking and tight security. The new apartment has 360 degree views of the city and measures 1,500 square meters (around 15,145 square feet) for a price of over $22,000 per square meter. According to an article on Haaretz.com some real estate agents in Tel Aviv think the price is way too high, especially since a $25 million penthouse in the Sea One Project on Hayarkon Street failed to sell.

Property developer Nakheel yesterday announced the Dubai Promenade, a sophisticated waterfront community which will create a virtual peninsula along the Dubai shoreline anchored by a five-star wheel-shaped hotel.

Dubai Promenade will be located between Dubai Marina and the seafront and is adjacent to Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC), resulting in awesome views of The Palm Jumeirah

Surrounded by the sea, a marina and a natural beach, Dubai Promenade will offer panoramic views, idyllic walkways, and carefully considered architecture to create a distinctly different residential and commercial environment. And the most extraordinary wheel-shaped luxurious hotel will be an impressive landmark. Although not much is known about this wheeled structure, let me tell you a bit about the Dubai Promenade. Located between Dubai Marina and the seafront , it is adjacent to Dubai International Marine Club resulting in awesome views of The Palm Jumeirah. In addition to a selection of commercial and residential towers, cafes, restaurants and retail offerings will span the length of the entire waterfront. Dubai Promenade will have its own marina with more than 60 berths.

Construction will begin in mid-2008 and on completion the development will accommodate approximately 10,000 residents in more than 2,000 residential units. Dubai, which attracts more tourists each year than any other Arab destination outside Egypt, plans to achieve economic growth of 11 per cent per year to 2015, partly by attracting tourists. The emirate also hopes to draw 15 million tourists a year by 2015!

Holiday destinations like Switzerland, Paris and New York, all are good but clichéd. The Aiola Island is an amazing getaway for those who like to be stranded in the middle of a water body. The Aiola is almost like a man-made island, which does a good job of a bridging two shores of the river Mur in Graz,Austria. The Aiola was built in 2003 and immediately went on to become one of the popular attractions. Created by New York artist Vito Acconci, this exotic island looks like a big round Lego piece beautifully wrapped with plastic around it. It comprises of a sunbathing area, a coffee house and a trendy bar.
